Does your doctor do this?

This is my second pregnancy I’ve gotten this far. I remember from my daughter 7 years ago every appointment my OB would have me pee in a cup and they would test it. I am now 24 weeks and some days and my doctor has never done this once. Do you have to leave a urine sample every appointment or are doctors different?

Update everyone: I transferred care due to moving so this place was closer and first thing they did was make me pee in a cup lol.

I’m also experiencing the same thing I guess it’s not common anymore. I’m on my third pregnancy and currently 24w and have never had my urine tested. I haven’t asked about it and I’m not sure if they will start closer towards the end. W my previous pregnancies (7y,4y) they tested each appointment and it’s the same clinic same insurance so who knows

I don’t always leave a sample but some drs are different and may want to check it more often .
