Help, is this implantation?

Could this possibly be from implantation or early period? Last night I got a couple spots of old blood after sex and now this when I wiped. I was 12dpo last night. All my tests have been negative so far.

It’s unlikely this is related to anything other than an upcoming/impending period at 12DPO. 12-14DPO is a prime time for the onset of our periods and many women experience premenstrual spotting prior to their flow. There’s really not a lot of concrete evidence that supports implantation causing vaginal bleeding, even though the internet makes it seem so common. I would monitor it and test again if your period doesn’t show within a few days. Keep in mind that there are tons of different causes of spotting outside of a period, most of which, can happen during pregnancy as well, although it’s not usually ideal.
