Went in for a 8 week scan very nervous and trying to hold in with a full bladder. The scan was pretty quick and straightforward. Did not know what to expect when it was done so quickly. The ultrasound technician asked me to call in my husband and she showed us our little one’s heart thumping at 163 bpm. As a first time mom, I’m still in awe and processing this realization that this is not something I am making up in my head but very very real. We both had surgeries this year which could have impacted our chance to be parents so we are very grateful for this little miracle. ✨
