I’m currently either 5 weeks or 5 weeks 2 days if my intuition on conception date is correct 😅, my due date is April 29th. I have pcos and a history of miscarriages so my obgyn has my first appointment set for September 6th I’ll be just shy of 7 weeks. I got my first beta hcg done on 08/20 my level was 176 I wasn’t about to do exactly 48hr later cause of a family emergency I had to go out of town by I got my beta done again yesterday and it’s now 1220. I’m really hoping that’s on the right track I messaged my Dr via the patient portal just for some feedback on my results and haven’t heard back yet. I’m trying to stay calm and patient till the 6th when I have my first appointment they did mention they would do an ultrasound that visit since I do have a history of miscarriage so I’m super excited for that! With my miscarriages it felt like the pregnancy wasn’t real because the only people who knew was me and the hospital cause I lived in a different state at the time and they wouldn’t see you till 10-12 weeks and I miscarried with in days of my bfp if it wasn’t for my pcp at the time I wouldn’t have known low progesterone was the cause of atleast one of the two so this time I’m on progesterone supplements. I’d love some advice on what I need to ask at my first appointment and what should I prepare myself for? Even tips on things you did to keep your mind occupied till your appointment ❤️
