Wrong gender at 15 weeks?

Has anyone been told the wrong gender and later found out it was the opposite?

It can happen - it happened to my best friend. She was told a boy and found out a month later it was a girl. Apparently parts can appear swollen which is why they initially thought boy. That’s what she told me anyway.

unlikely especially if you’ve had an ultrasound to confirm. even less likely if the result was backed up by NIPT or other clinical testing.
