So my husbands “dad” side of the family doesn’t call him unless someone passes away or if it’s some sort of an emergency. Well, today one of his family members called me and at the end of our 4 minutes convo she asked how’s “that little girl”. Instead of saying my daughter’s name. It came off as rude to me so I quickly ended the conversation by saying she’s great and getting big and told her it was nice talking with her and ended the call with the quickness cause it pissed me off. My husband’s dad wife is a complete weirdo. She made a Christmas post on Facebook with “her” grandkids and my husbands dad saying “merry Christmas from us and our grandkids” mind you my kid was nowhere in the pic. Well, he explained to his dad how that bothered us and come to find out those pics were taken a year before my kid was born and since then his dad have not called only text on occasions. My kid is almost 2 and I will not force anyone to have a relationship with my kid(s). Am I wrong for not inviting them birthdays or any other activities that involves my kid?
