Nicu stay for those induced early due to IUGR?

Hi. I’m currently at 34w 1 day. Baby girl’s been measuring below the 10th percentile since the 20weeks scan. I’ve been going to the MFM for regular growth scans and NSTs. Everything seems to be fine except her percentiles. AC is currently measuring below the 2nd percentile; everything else is below the 10th except her femur, her estimated weight was 4lbs1oz.
 Anyway, after my NST today, my OB said she wants to so an induction at 37weeks 3days because she’s on call that day and off work the week after. My MFM had said I could go up to 38 weeks.
 Though I don’t want to be induced early just because my OB’s on call that day, I would prefer to have her with me because she knows my history (I have been taking insulin since week 16 for GD) and I know she’s competent and I trust her. What’s going to be a determining factor is whether an early induction at 37 weeks (just because she’s measuring behind) will mean a Nicu stay. That’s something I’d like to avoid if I can. Am a first time mom and this hasn’t been the easiest pregnancy. Any similar experience where you were induced early due to IUGR or had the baby around the 37 week mark would be appreciated.

My first born was IUGR and induced at 37+5. He stayed in the NICU for a few hours and deemed able to breathe and digest on his own. He had jaundice and looked like a little old man (growing into his skin) but he was perfect. He was born at 5lb.2 and still at the age of 12 measures under the 10th percentile but boy is he bright! He aces every test and has many friends. He is perfect in every single way. I made sure to feed him what we ate (blended) and now he has the best taste buds in the family. 
FYI: the hospital staff will not allow baby to leave in a car if baby is not snug in a car seat. Make sure to buy the extra cushioned inserts so baby is safe and snug.

I wasn’t diagnosed with iugr (maybe I would have been if she wasn’t coming before 37w regardless because of my cerclage) or induced early. But I did have my daughter at 35w 4d and she weighed 4lbs 11oz (false weight from excess fluid). She was in the nicu for 7 days. She had a little trouble breathing and eating on her own. She was jaundice. She dropped down to 3lbs 13oz by day 5 so we had to wait 2 days simply for her to be heavy enough for her car seat (4lbs). She’s 3 now.

I had my first at 35 wks due to preeclampsia and high blood pressure. She spent a week in the nicu because the magnesium i was given during my labor made her sleepy so it made her “lazy” with eating. She also struggled to breathe the first couple of hours but after that she was fine. We did struggle with jaundice and she did have to go under the light for 24hrs. Other than that she was perfectly healthy. She was 5lbs 12oz. My son was born at 37 weeks because my blood pressure was starting to rise and we could see the signs of preeclampsia starting to begin so we made the call to get him out. He was 7lbs 1oz. He didn’t need nicu stay. He did have a little trouble with regulating his temp but as long as we kept him bundled up and had him close to us he was fine.

I had two iugr babies both was in the nicu one for a week not even cause just couldn’t hold body temp but could breath on own and everything was 4pounds at 35 weeks my other was in the nicu for as long as my hospital stay like 3 days I think same problem couldn’t hold body temperature but could breath on own and everything 5 pounds at 36 weeks
