She's here! After days of false labor
I can't believe she is finally here. Born on Thursday morning at 5:21 bright and early. I was dealing with false labor for a couple of days and it was getting so frustrating. On Wednesday night, I started getting contractions at 9:30 p.m., tried to sleep but they were about an hour apart. Woke up at 10:30 to contractions, back to sleep end up at 11:30 and that's when I decided to start timing them. Over the course of an hour they were coming every 3 to 7 minutes, took a shower and was still getting contractions every 3 to 5 minutes. We left for the hospital at around 1:00 a.m. and contractions were a good 3 minutes apart. Things were progressing quickly so in triage I was dilated to a three, they admitted me around 2:00 a.m., contractions where 1 to 3 minutes apart, water broke, epidural at about 4:00 a.m. and they had me pushing around 5:00. It was such a relief after days of false labor to be able to successfully leave the hospital with my precious little girl!
