If I was ovulating in the 20th of August would a blood test detect pregnancy this early? My breasts are extremely sore and I feel tired 24/7 I have surgery on Thursday and I don’t want there to be any complications if I am pregnant

While I’d normally say on the early side, this happened to me and I got a positive. Only tested because I was so nauseous. As long as you are 9dpo go for it!

Any type of pregnancy test is going to depend on when implantation happens because that's when hcg enters your system. I would just take an at home test on the 3rd since that's 2 weeks after when you think you ovulated and it should be accurate by then.
