Implanon/Nexplanon - Periods and Pregnancy

Hi Everyone!

I’ve had the implant for just over 2 years now and i’ve had nothing but good things to say about it. From normally heavy and painful periods, they completely stopped, which was an absolute dream.

I’ve noticed in the past couple of days i’ve started bleeding again, heavily much like how my periods used to be. Just wondering if anyone has experienced this? And also what effect will this have on protecting against pregnancy?
