What breast pump brand have you used and would recommend to a first time mom?

I heard through my insurance that I am eligible for a free breast pump but I am unsure what to look for when shopping for pumps. What things should I look for that will make pumping a breeze (as a first time mom)? What brands have you tried yourself and recommended? 
Here is the list of companies that my insurance company provided me with:

- Care Centrix

- Medela

I would contact each company to get a list of what is covered by your insurance, and the prices of any upgraded options. (Each company’s offerings will be different) And go from there. I would choose a pump that did not have to be plugged into the wall while in use even if there is an upgrade fee. (I think the battery motif Luna pump is great or the spectra s1) If you can squeeze it into the budget. It really sucks to be trapped near the outlet.

Medela freestyle was great. I also have a willow that I semi like but not as much as the medela.

I absolutely loved my spectra! It was free through my insurance as well. It’s hospital grade too!
