Marge as a middle name thoughts?

I am getting absolutely ROASTED by my friend group chat for considering it as a middle name, but I like it! I’m due with my daughter the week of my late grandma’s birthday and I thought it’d be a sweet way to honor her

No one really uses middle names regularly so I say do what you want. Personally I’d do Margaret. Maybe Margie? Not a huge fan of Marge.

This is the reason I don’t tell people the name while still considering it, even if it’s likely going to be it. Harder for people to roast you to your face while holding a baby and if they do then you say see ya never again. I think honoring is great! I hate people that want to butt in, naming someone else’s kid. Like have your own kids, name them how you want.

I think that’s rude of your friends to make fun of your late grandmothers name! And I think it’s super sweet to use it. Another thought - was it short for Margaret? If so that could be a good option too!

My great-grandmother was Marguerite and I’ve been thinking of using as a middle name. I think it’s classically beautiful 🥰 maybe Marge as a nickname? But honestly, who cares what others think! It’s whatever you feel is best for YOUR child.
