I’m about 6 weeks along now, I’m new to this. I just got diagnosed with HSV-2 back in February, and I think I’m having an outbreak…I don’t have my first initial appointment until about 2 weeks from now…..is it okay to take the acyclovir tabs to clear this outbreak? My bottle says one in the morning(400 mg) and one before bedtime(400 mg). I usually would take it like that until the sores went away completely which would be about 4-5 days….can’t really get advice from a doctor right now…….What do you all think?

*I’m sure due to hormonal changes and stuff like that, my body just comes down with a bunch of “stuff”. And that’s what usually happens to me almost every time I end up pregnant….for example, I’ll have BV and a UTI at the same time smh 🤦🏽‍♀️
