Is this normal?

I've had the Mirena IUD since October 2021 with no periods, only occasional brownish discharge. A few hours after sex I've noticed a change to clear discharge with a tinge of blood. Then it got a little heavier later. Now it’s like a period with clots. Is this normal after two years without bleeding? It’s a little more and darker than this pic this pic is second wipe.

This happened to me but with my nexplanon implant. My doctor told me that it has to do with the body and yes hormones. I had no period for 2 1/2 years then boom irregular bleeding. My doctor gave me the option if replacing with a new one as the old one was malfunctioning. I opted for full removal. Still consult your doctor or healthcare provider about it though.

Bleeding can be unpredictable with any hormonal birth control. So yes it’s normal
