Bleeding after sex?(4weeks 4days)

Question

My husband and I were intimate this morning and afterwords I noticed some very light pink spotting which it did not concern me. However, an hour or so later when I used the bathroom, there was a small thick and dark amount of blood on the toilet paper. As of right now, I’m still getting small streaks of red. Should I be concerned?

Don’t take my advice as medical BUT some light bleeding in the first 12 weeks is - in most case - normal, and something 25% of women experience. This happened to me after sex, and also after an internal scan - you are super sensitive down there during pregnancy, so just the smallest amount of irritation can cause bleeding. If you’re concerned calm the early pregnancy unit, but bear in mind they don’t scan you and even if they did they wouldn’t see anything and wouldn’t unlikely even say you’ve miscarried as it’s too early to classify it as that.
