I had both my babies there. My daughter (May of 2021) had a four day Nicu stay and my son (December of 2023) didn’t need the Nicu. Generally, the experience was good. Only one or two nurses who were meh. The others were great and a handful were absolutely amazing. I didn’t have any major issues with any of the staff in my experiences. The Nicu staff were incredible and encouraged me to spend as much time with my daughter as possible but also made sure I was taken care of as well.

One of the better things there is the food. One “meal” was enough for both my husband and I and we saved snacks from each meal for later and in between. They give you a ton of food plus there’s a separate cafe downstairs past the pharmacy that you have to pay for yourself but the food there is really good too if you’re looking for something different.

The worst thing (as weird as this sounds) were the lights in the birthing suites. They look like the freaking eyes of god staring at you and I hated it but if that’s the worst part then oh well I guess 🤷🏻‍♀️

Other con was the size of the recovery rooms. With my daughter we somehow got a large suite (no idea why) but with my son we got the regular room and its tiny bit we were only there for about a day and a half. All the recovery rooms are private though so you don’t have to share with anyone which is nice.

Overall if I had another child I’d definitely have them at St. Peter’s again. You can PM me if you have any specific questions too.
