Static smiley x2

So i had a a blinking smiley face on Sunday and monday, a solid on Tuesday, obviously baby making those days. After 48 hrs(yesterday) for some reason i tested again- empty circle. And today i tested again and im back to solid smiley face? Ik i wasn't supposed to test again but i was curious. Now i don't know if i ovulated Wednesday/Thursday or if im going to ovulate tomorrow/the next day. Does a second surge mean failed ovulation? Can you have a second surge and still progress to pregnancy even if you didn't bd during second surge?
