Husband’s friend pointed gun at our cat

My husband and his friend regularly go to the range together to shoot. Yesterday they were prepping for their range day when my husband’s friend pointed his unloaded gun at the car as a “joke”. This really disturbed me and I called him out on it. Our cat even looked visibly threatened by it. He was hardly apologetic, and my husband didn’t even properly call him out for it. They just continued on with their activities. What do I even do with this? Sure it’s an unloaded gun, but I’m incredibly upset over my husband not advocating for me. And for his friend’s blatant disrespect. Unloaded or no, don’t aim a gun at anything you’re not willing to destroy.
