Positive Ovulation longer than expected
UPDATE:
So after 13 days of positive ovulation tests they FINALLY stopped. My husband and I have no idea if we are pregnant though. We were only together on the 6th and the 10th both of which were well within that positive ovulation. My period was supposed to start on the 19 and it’s currently the 23rd and no period. No symptoms. All pregnancy tests negative. Tomorrow would have been the expected end of my period. I mean with my first child I was “late” 3 weeks before I got a positive pregnancy test. Never knew why. Doctor didn’t feel it necessary to dive into that at all so I never felt it necessary. I’m wondering if maybe this time is like that and I’m just gonna have to wait a bit longer but honestly who even knows anymore.
The only thing I’d like now honestly is to hurry up and start my period so I can get it over with. I truly don’t think I am pregnant. I’m assuming I’m just late. I suppose it’s more frustration because I’d like an answer. If I still have no positive test or my period by the weekend I’ll be trying to get to my Dr as soon as I can the following week to make sure nothings actually wrong with me. Guess we will see.
Okay so I know this is gonna sound weird and the first thought anyone might have is “you were probably doing it wrong” or that I’m “reading them wrong” all I can say is I’m not doing them wrong or reading it wrong. I’ve double checked. Triple checked as much as anyone could that I was not losing my marbles and taking them wrong somehow 😂
I have had positive ovulation tests for 10 days straight now and I’m confused. Are the tests messed up? Or is there a health condition I’m not aware of that could make that sort of thing happen? I’m not the type of person to go to Dr for everything. If I’m not actively dying I’m not going but Im very confused about them being positive for this long and my first thought was the tests I got must just be a faulty batch or something. I’ve been using ovulation test strips for about 3 years now and this is the first time this has happened.
