So I found out in July I was 3-4 weeks pregnant. I made my ob appointment and in august I had my first ultrasound. Baby was measuring good and everything was where it should be. Baby’s heartbeat was there and was at 90. Ultrasound tech said the heartbeat was on the low side and wanted me back in a week for a viability ultrasound. When I went back there was no heartbeat I was 8 weeks at that point. This was august 12th. No blood test was done or anything just an ultrasound. The ob came in and gave me options and I chose to try and pass it naturally. I was still having pregnancy symptoms. I went for a second opinion and they confirmed it was a missed miscarriage. My Hcg levels were still in the 75000s. My ob called and asked how everything was going and if I passed it. I went in and got the D&C procedure on September 6th. Very light bleeding the first 2 days and haven’t had bleeding since. Doctor said I could try again when the bleeding has fully cleared. I have 1 child already who is 5 and this was my very first miscarriage.

Anyone have any similar stories and had a positive outcome and had a successful pregnancy after a D&C.
