What do drs consider “TTC”
Im 30, in the UK. I took my coil out in Nov 2023 and still not fallen pregnant with baby #2.
I wasn’t sure when to bring in a conversation about getting the Drs advise/ help. We all know it can take 6 weeks+ to get appointments these days. And I know they say around the 12 month mark of having regular unprotected sex is the expected for trying.
Sounds silly but do the Drs have specific conditions for what they consider as “trying” such as, do I have to be using the testing strips and BBT and tracking apps and such for 12 months and then consult with Drs?
I did try the BBT and found it confusing to know for sure and I always see people checking the strips on here and it looks very confusing too. I never did either the first time we just fell pregnant naturally 5 months after a miscarriage. My partner is not wanting it to feel like we’re trying with all the testing strips etc so there isn’t pressure to perform shall we say, though we do have regular sex throughout the month esp. the first 2 weeks after AF ends
I currently just track my CM and cramping/ moods in this app so will they send me away?
Thanks
