Is my daughter becoming a "pick me"

My daughter has never really had friends. She's extremely shy and went through a lot of bullying and depression. She would also self harm. She joined robotics this year and is one of 3 girls in robotics. I picked her up from robotics yesterday and she was surrounded by a group of boys and was sitting across from one guy chugging soda. One boy burped really loud. Then She went and burped really loud and the boys started chanting one of us. There way of saying she's "one of the guys" now. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with having guy friends. I just don't want her to be a pick me. Plus we all know girls who are one of the guys most likely is just fucking all of them and that is the LAST thing she needs with her mental health and her age. I don't mind her having guy friends. I don't want her to be a pick me.

That’s no where near being a pick me. That’s her trying to fit in and imitate her friends. If she starts disparaging or demeaning others because she’s trying to get a guy to like her then you’ve got a pick me on your hands

I don’t know how her making friends and them being guys makes her a pick me.

What a gross way to talk about your DAUGHTER. I’d be appalled if my mom thought I was “fucking all the boys” because I was friends with them!!?? Get help.

honestly sounds like you’re one of those moms that are jealous of your own daughter 😬
