Late Ovulation?

So I went for an early ultrasound yesterday thinking I was 5 weeks but we didn’t see anything and my HcG is still going up. Anyone ever experienced late ovulation and getting pregnant? Doctor says I may just not be as far a long as I think so that’s why I didn’t see anything.

When was your first positive test? And what are your hcg levels? they should be seeing a gestational sac at least that’s if your 5w

Why would they do an ultrasound at 5 weeks? You wouldn't see anything that early on.
