Does the saggy tummy go away 😫

With my first pregnancy I bounced back pretty quickly and don’t remember such saggy belly skin. I also lost 35 pounds two years later and BAM got pregnant lol. This pregnancy my baby was much larger and I gained double the weight. My belly is so saggy I don’t feel confident or like myself. Please tell me this gets better

Depends a bit on how far postpartum you are, what number pregnancy, and your body/genetics.
I gained about 40 pounds with my first (and was only about 105 prepregnancy) and took a full 18 months to get back there. My skin tightened up well and I had essentially no saggy skin.
I got pregnant with my third at 8 months postpartum so I’m not sure how it would have been after my second. But ever since my third, the skin has been very saggy/wrinkly. I think it’s the back to back pregnancies. For me, it has looked a little better as I’ve continued to regain fitness (it clearly comes across as damaged skin), but it’s obvious that it will always be there to some degree.

Saggy skin doesn't go away & weight loss makes it look worse. 😩 I ended up getting a tummy tuck in March this year after having my 4th baby 4 years ago.

How far postpartum are you and are you using anything to help?

It can shrink a bit in the next year. Gaining muscle can help the appearance. Unfortunately though, once it’s stretched to the point of being excess there’s very little you can do beyond surgery to fix it.

Idk if you’d call it saggy, but mine was definitely loose and “crepey” I’m about 14 weeks post partum now and have been sure to make really good care of my skin and it’s looking a lot better. I’ve been exfoliating and moisturizing regularly and got a firming lotion and have been seeing good results. I’ve lost over 50lbs since my delivery.
