I think I want to break up with my boyfriend. He’s nice and sweet but when I’m with him I find myself wishing to trade bodies with someone that wasn’t in his presence. Also, there’s a huge gap in our finances, he knows that I make more than him and he tells me that I need to be ready to pay more expenses than him in the future. I don’t mind doing 50/50 but I feel like I’m. currently doing 80/20. I never like being the person who hurts someone’s feelings but I’m literally dying being with him. I want someone who can give me the world, not someone who wants me to give the world to them. Here some background to our relationship; I’ve surprised him with two vacations and romantic surprises as well, but for valentine’s day/my birthday he literally just got me flowers and a bag of chocolate from the store… Am I being selfish? Am I being the issue? What should I do?
