I have had an implant for almost 6 years now. My periods were on and off, where I could have a normal period one month and after a week/ 10 days after my last day, spotting would start (quite heavy spotting). Brown in colour and a lot more thin than normal period. I would still leak with a fresh tampon. Like it would not soak in the tampon. Then I would not have any period next month.

Now it has changed where I get my period, week later I have got the spotting, then week of nothing and again. It’s usually 7-10 days between spotting and having a normal period. I have had enough.

I loved implant as I didn’t have to remember about the pill. Not much side effects, only what I have said. I don’t want to have iud, injections or plasters. So I’m thinking of the pill, but scared of getting pregnant (I know it is less effective). And also few of my friends that are on the pill suffer with frequent infections down there. Any advice? 😕
