Boyfriend joining the Navy…. 💔

My boyfriend of 5 years and I just welcomed our first born. My boyfriend and I were struggling like all couples do when they welcome a first baby. He broke up with me and signed up for the Navy. He just has to lose weight in order to qualify. We got back together after being broke up for like 3-4 days. He says if I don’t support him in joining the Navy that he will just be completely done with me.

I’m having such a hard time with it though. He won’t be here to watch our son grow up or barely even have a relationship with him. He will be going a couple states away and I don’t want to move to California. There isn’t a base here where we live. I want him to come home to me and our son every night, not every once in a while for like 8 years.
