Do you think a man should take care of the mother of his child regardless of whether they're together?
My boyfriend and I have been together for a year. He has a 4 year old son they have 50/50 custody with. He has a restraining order against his baby mama so they have to do pick ups and drop offs from a third party which is his baby mamas mothers house. From what I understand they can only communicate through a co-parenting app and don't even talk to each other on their. Just add events and reminders. At this pickup his baby mamas mothers started told him his baby mamas car down. Transmission and engine are screwed. Her mom drops the kids off and picks them up from daycare but baby mama is stuck walking everywhere. She walks an hour to and from work. My boyfriend just got a new car and is selling his old one. I started to bring up maybe giving her his car and he gave me a look and I dropped it instantly. From what I understand they haven't actually spoken to each other in two years and the last time they were in each other's presence was for their DV case where he was granted his restraining order. I know they don't like each other. End of the day it's no my business. But when my parents split up my dad always step up to make sure my mom was taken care of because when she was taken care of so where the kids.
