OPK tests

I’m so sad… this was my first month using ovulation strips since our miscarriage at the end of June. We were really hoping for our rainbow, but as of now it’s BFN. Could I have missed the ovulation day or why else couldn’t it have been successful? I have no underlying health conditions that I know of.. and our doctor said we’ll most likely get pregnant within three months of the miscarriage. I really thought we had this month covered.
