Would you be ok with your man going out alone to meet a female friend?

Context: my boyfriend of a year and a half made a female friend a year ago and has been going out with her from time to time and he didn’t tell me until I asked if he has any female friends that he goes out with. I’m not ok with it, especially that he didn’t tell me until I asked. I want to see if I’m insecure or if it’s a normal reaction.

The issue is he didn’t tell you, not that he has a woman friend. Hiding, omitting and lying are the problem.

A new friend probably not , one of the female friends he has had since I’ve known him, no it wouldn’t bother me . One is like a sister to him and the other is married to his bestfriend and they are all good friends . I would not be okay if he met some new person and started hanging out with her . Especially if he didn’t tell me or introduce her to me , that’s just weird .

I wouldn’t be okay with it. It’s okay to have boundaries. But you have to enforce your boundaries. You can’t dictate who is/is not friends with if he’s insistent. If you guys don’t align, it’s better to walk away.
