I’m in my mid-20s and have minimal sex experience, I’m not saving myself, just hasn’t happened yet. I was just thinking about hooking up with a guy (in the theoretical, this isn’t on the horizon) and realized that I’d absolutely be most comfortable giving a blowjob if there was a condom involved for a million reasons including STDs and cleanliness, but I don’t think it’s common practice at all? I’ve heard a lot of people say things like “people forget that oral sex is sex and protection should be used” which makes me think that I should feel confident asking to use one, but I’m pretty sure NO ONE does. Just wondering about commonality? Am I alone in this? Thoughts?
