So my bf and i had unprotected sex 3 weeks ago and i am on the pill but i an very bad at taking it on time and have missed some doses and had to double up the next day. For a week and a half i’ve been experiencing insane food aversions and not able to tolerate or smell meat dairy or eggs which are all things i really love and feeling extremely tired, bloated, and constipated. My period was 4 days late and ive been continuing to take my birth control so this was far into the placebo week and i wasn’t bleeding. I took a pregnancy test 2 days ago when it was 2 days late and it was a very very faint positive. I started cramping really bad and started spotting light pink today. A few hours ago I got a sharp cramp while lying down and ran to the toilet and had heavy bleeding and clots coming out. This clot was attached to my pad and it’s one of the smaller clots but it’s very fleshy looking. Since iVe been in the pill for 8 years my periods are very regular and my periods are always on time during the placebo week and i rarely get cramping and NEVER clots. I took another pregnancy test and this time no faint line. What should I do? Is there a way for the doctors to confirm if this is miscarriage or not because i flushed everything and i am now testing without the faint line. The original faint line i got was VERY faint so im not even sure it was positive to begin with. i’ll attach the photo of the faint line test. Its hard to tell on camera but in person I definitely do see it very faintly. Do we think this is a miscarriage ??
