My fiance is a white male and I am a Puerto Rican female. He is apt to using words like “n****r” and I call him out for it because I feel it’s totally inappropriate. He says that it’s not messed up because it means ignorant and that’s what people are… moving forward. In a bout to road rage he calls someone “blackey” and I again explain how that’s not appropriate or right. He gets mad and says essentially that I’m being too “sensitive” and what do I care if I’m not “black” and in his 37 years of living I’ve been the only person to have a problem with these behaviors so the problem is me. What’re your opinions?
