Normal birth after C-section?

This is my 3rd pregnancy my first one was normal birth and my second pregnancy with twins was a C-section. 
My dr wants me to give birth between 38-39 weeks so that I can have a normal birth. 
Have any of y’all had a successful birth after a c section?

My first was csection and 2nd was Vbac at 38wks exact (she came all on her own). You can most definitely go until 40wks for a Vbac. 39wks is full term not 38. Induction (if that’s what the dr is implying) will only increase the chances for another csection when the body isn’t ready yet. Just cause the doctor says so doesn’t mean anything it only means Dr wants control of when birth is.

My first was a C-section and I’ve had 2 vbacs since! One at 39 and some days and the other at 37 and some days!
