Could this be PCOS or Endometriosis?

Celeste L

Sidenote: I have recently researched these specific topics of numerous stories of women with these two diagnoses separately. I have looked up the symptoms and did a bit of digging in researching. I am going further as to make a self-diagnosis.

I might be having similar symptoms of endometriosis but cannot diagnose that without a doctor. However, I just want to point out what symptoms I’m currently experiencing to weigh in on the possibility.

I now have to seek a doctor who takes insurance because my former doctor cannot take me in. I’m beyond his age requirements to be seen/make an appointment with.

The only symptom I have is the dull pain on my right ovary while being on my period.

I notice it when I’m doing my business in the restroom and can feel the pain unilaterally.

Then, it switches over to my left ovary and stays there for a bit before switching back to my right ovary. I try not to add pressure on the side where there’s pain.

It is enough for me to notice a pattern.

Several periods ago, I noticed pain behind my back, kidneys, sides.

I also noticed I frequently use the bathroom when I am stressed and/or nervous.

The times I felt pain were so noticeable I had to hold my back / side while it was happening.

I don’t have any unusual periods nor spotting.

My range is 28-31 complete cycles every month and a year. It is normal for me to be earlier or even a little late.

And my cycles normally last 7 days. Per cycle. Nothing less. Nothing more.

I bleed light to medium to heavy to light throughout my 7 day periods.

I rarely get blood clots, but I still get them.

My age range is 22-24.

I am healthy despite sedentary. I try to eat healthy and avoid sugar because I’m intolerant to sugar (glucose). My family history is diabetes and cancer.

My mom has even more symptoms of endometriosis and fibromyalgia due to her cysts. My maternal grandma has diabetes complications. My paternal grandma also has diabetes complications or similar along with problems with swelling around her ankles and legs. No, doctors didn’t diagnose her with lipodema nor lymphoma or lymphedema.

My great grandparents on both sides [also] had diabetes and/or cancer.

With this on the women’s side, I am highly likely to inherit something.

Please say whether you had coped with similar or either PCOS or endometriosis and describe the symptoms in detail. Thank you!
