PCOS help!
Hey ladies. I’m asking for advice, opinions, options. I am 25 years old have PCOS, been trying for baby #1 for 5+ years now. I have started Metformin in March 2024, my cycles are now on track, coming every month! I’m happy about that. I am on 1500mg of Metformin. I have been drinking a lot of water lately, been trying to cut out sugar, salt, and soda. I will have a soda every now and then, but not like I used to. I was exercising 2 times a week for about an hour as that is how often my work will allow me to. I have when I first started Metformin and working out I lost a total of 23 pounds now. I have not lost anymore or gained stayed about the same weight. I used to weigh 190lbs before I started Metformin and now i am at 166lbs. I really want to work on getting my body better so getting pregnant could become easier. But also because I want to make sure i feel good too in my own body. I am also a very picky eater, I don’t like a lot of vegetables or fruit. Which is my downside to trying to eat healthier. Please comment. I am asking what helped you? What extra vitamins did you take? What workouts did you do to help, how many times a week? What did you cut out? Thank you! I also have tried Femara 3-4 cycles now and no luck. I recently tried Femara 7.5mg and trigger shot. Everything went smoothly but didn’t end up pregnant. I have an appt to speak to my fertility specialist in Nov. but didn’t know if you think something might be better to try. Let me know thanks you.
