So I’ve had 2 mirena coils over the last 9 years and it’s been great. No issues with it at all. I’m now 27 and married and decided to have this out to give my body time to regulate itself before we try for children.

I’m worried that because I had the mirena so young and for so long without periods that my body will not know what to do to sort itself and it will be a shock to my system.

Has anyone else had an IUD/IUS for a while without periods? How long before your body reacted? Was it difficult to conceive?
