Breastfeeding Tips for Sexual Assault Survivor?
I have a history of sexual assault and I believe it negatively affected my ability to breastfeed my first two kids due to low supply (I’m sure stress related since I remember having feelings of stress, nausea, discomfort, etc. when bf before). I’m due now in a couple months and I reallllly want to be able to bf longer and ideally exclusively. I know I could just give formula or just pump but it is also important to me for the bonding and attachment purposes so I really want to latch most of the time. Even though it has been emotionally/physically hard for me with my other kids, it also was positive for attachment for me and them I believe - if that makes sense. Any other survivors on here have tips that have helped them or that you all have heard of?
