So I went shopping for a winter jacket for my kid.

I showed him every jacket in the store but he had already chosen.. This was "the one"

it's grey with a hint of beige with white flowers.

I guess I'm kinda grateful it's not pink 🤣😂

I mean.. I wanted to be genderneutral idealogically but it appears my kid is way better at this than I am 🤣

I told him this is a girls jacket and he straight up told me.. "flowers are also for boys, mom" I could only agree 🤷‍♀️

I called his dad (my ex) too, just to be sure, because our kid travels with his clothes, and dad's response was "if that's the one he wants, just get it 🤷‍♀️"

@G then they should stop making boys/girls sections in shops.. I was severely bullied in school partially due to clothing and I overthing these kind of things.

But I think the jacket is actually fine. In Hindsight.

I was actually on board when he said "flowers are also for boys" because like you said, I thoight to myself, why am I being weird about this?

I called his dad just to be sure because we have a joint account to spend on things for our kid so I had to make sure he was ok with it, but he had no issue.
