Any step parents on here?

Looking for advice please 🙏🏼
When were you introduced to your SO’s children or when did you introduce them to yours? 
We’re both bio parents. Known each other several years but the relationship is new. Wondering how long to wait before introductions on both ends?

Probably an unpopular opinion here, but people come in and out of your life all the time. Teachers, coaches, other adults (think friends parents or extended family), kids get attached to all these people. Sometimes they leave due to death, sometimes relationships end, classes end, sports seasons end, people move. Ultimately if you’re prepared to end things as adults (if that’s what happens) and you are teaching your children emotional regulation and how to manage their big feelings, I don’t see why waiting would be necessary. Also as a child of divorced parents who dated frequently when I was a child I’m more traumatized by my parents bad decisions then any of the people they dated, half of whom I can’t even recall a name for. The bigger issue isn’t how soon do you introduce, but how healthy is the relationship you’re modeling for them.

I’d wait 6 months to a year minimum
