Is it common in abusive relationships for the abuser to hold things like this over your head?

I was “talking” to this guy and I realized he was really controlling - didn’t like my clothes, my friends, my social media. All of my friends were “awful people”, he would always look through my reposts on Tik tok, look at who’s liking my pictures. Any time that I would do/say/post something he didn’t like, it always turned into “this is why I’m not interested in you like that”
