Son wants me to take pictures of him down from Facebook
My son is 16 and I struggled to have him. I have 12 miscarriages before I finally got my miracle baby. So of course I posted everything about him on my Facebook from when he was a baby and made posts about him. My son has a Facebook but does not use it. He only uses messenger because he's not really a social media person. Why he's upset is because his friends were on my Facebook for some reason and found super old pictures of when he was a toddler and had an accident in his bath water. They gave him a hard time so he went on my Facebook and spent forever on it scrolling through old photos and extremely old posts I made. So he lost it on me and told me to delete every single picture of him off of Facebook and stop posting about him on Facebook. I used Facebook as like my diary tracking motherhood. Again I tried so hard to have my son and it's a diary. What's embarrassing to him is beautiful memories for me. I asked my husband to talk to him about him overreacting but my husband said he agrees and thinks I post weird stuff about him. He mentioned a post I made when my son was 11 and hurt his testicles so badly they had to remove one. I was just worried. It was a scary situation. But my husband thinks I should delete my Facebook and start over or at least delete all the embarrassing pictures. My son is ignoring me even though I try to explain how important those memories are to me. Do I just give in and delete them?
