Cat detect pregnancy?

How soon can a cat tell youre pregnant? My sons cat has been extra loving with me. Ive only known about baby #2 for a week. Im currently 5 weeks. This is my sons cat right now.

My female cat (6 years old) knew before I did, then I went to my husband house (he was boyfriend then) and his male kitten (5 weeks old) was attached to me grooming me and didn’t want no one to touch me.
Cats are very intelligent they even know when you are sick before you get any symptoms 🥹

Not sure how early exactly but every time I’ve been pregnant my cat has been a huge indicator as she gets this obsession with me especially during work when she can sit on my lap/abdomen

So scientifically cats can know before you even do ! This isn’t some natural intuition phenomenon on their part due to being able to tell you have a child in you but more so because mammals have great senses they notice hormonal changes that affects your body odor plus your body temp is warmer and cats sense and feel this as well!

Cat momma here! I like to believe yes! My baby likes to always lay on my tummy when I am pregnant. This is my second pregnancy that he does the same thing. And with this one, I feel like he started doing this soon as of 6 weeks pregnant.

Well i guess i didnt update this post but i lost my baby on Halloween... my cat was lovey-dovey all the way until I stopped bleeding. He still lays on me, but not like when i was pregnant... hoping for rainbow baby. Baby dust and well wishes for a healthy pregnancy to you all!!
