Mucus Plug Q?

When did you lose your mucus plug? This is my third baby, fourth pregnancy and I’m at least 80% sure I lost part if not all my mucus plug earlier today.. I’m slightly uncomfortable but I don’t feel like I’m going into early labor and my insurance doesn’t start back until Nov.1 which makes me not want to visit the L&D department unless I’m sure it is an emergency but my next OB appointment is Nov.7 so my question is should I call them and ask what they want me to do or do I just wait until my appointment and ask them to check / talk to them about it then?

I know I can’t rely on if my water broke or not because not one of my pregnancies has my water broke on its own but I’m still a little curious to know if there’s anything I should watch out for, not do or if I should call my OB so I figured I’d come ask some other mamas in the community for a second opinion
