Husband buys all his family’s meals
My husband and I had an argument. For several months I noticed that every time he goes to visit his older sister, he buys everyone’s food at the restaurant (so he picks up the check for himself, his sister, her husband, and his nephew). I asked him why he’s being doing this (she and her husband make more money than us and always have). He got extremely defensive and essentially his reasoning was because he wants to do it for them because we live “far away” (they are just one state over and he’s seen them about every other month or more this year). One weekend he went to visit, he bought 3 of the 4 meals for everyone. She never reciprocates. Now he’s not speaking to me. Am I wrong for asking? We are going through infertility testing right now and insurance won’t cover if we need treatment (we are trying to have a second baby) so I pointed out we need to save more money for these expenses (fertility treatments and a second child).
