Withdrawal Bleeding?

Hi ladies, I've been on birth control pill for 8 years. Only time i stopped was 3 years ago when I got pregnant but miscarried. I had started my 1st week of the packet, but my partner and I finally decided it was a good time to try for a baby again. Friday night was my last dose of that 1st week (I always started on Monday's so only 5 pills were taken), and here I am Wednesday (5 days later) and I'm starting to spot. I just heard about the term "withdrawal bleeding" today, so can someone tell me if thats what it is, and what should I expect from it? Am I still gonna ovulate, or is that not possible yet until my next normal cycle? Can I still have sex with my partner?
