Baby refuses to nurse at night
Please help me figure this out..😩 my 3 month old baby is breastfed & bottle fed pumped milk. She breastfeeds if I’m home or somewhere I can sit to feed her. But I pump everyday because I have other small kids, so we are always on the go & sometimes it’s more convenient to bottle feed her. She does great with both, and hasn’t ever had any issues switching back & forth. I used to pump lots of extra milk and froze a bit for sitters and such.. but now I only get enough milk from pumping to feed her…not enough to freeze or save. By bedtime, we’ve gone through what I’ve pumped that day, and I try to BF since we are home. The past few nights, she has REFUSED to nurse in the evenings when it’s time for bed. She will scream, fight me, push off…it’s horrible. So lately I’ve been having to thaw a bag of milk every night, and she will take the bottle with no issues at all. I don’t know what’s going on, or what to do. But I’m going through my freezer stash that I had saved for emergencies (which isn’t much anyway). Has anybody else gone through this? Any ideas on what to do to help?
