Has anyone ever had a tooth extracted before?

I have to have my molar extracted(3) on friday and Im super anxious about it. They will give me local anesthesia but I don’t really want to hear the drilling but I need to drive myself home after. Im only 25 but I have really bad teeth and didn’t get proper dental care earlier. I will start the implant process but just very nervous.

I had my front tooth extracted after breaking it and it really isn’t that bad. The worst part for me was the numbing needles but it’s over quickly. It was way easier than getting my wisdom teeth out and the recovery wasn’t bad, just stay on top of your pain meds. the only thing that sucks is how long the process of getting an implant was for me, it took about 7 months total from when I got the tooth extracted to getting my permanent tooth

It’s a quick procedure and recovery. The worst part is the numbing needle but it’s really just a quick pinch. That’s it. Bring earphones to help you. You’ll be fine!

Honestly you probably won’t remember a thing with local anesthesia! Bring some headphones and listen to some brown noise to help yourself relax 😌 it’ll be okay! I’m 31 and just now able to go back to the dentist since I was a teen on my parents insurance so I totally get the fear but you will thank yourself getting this all done!
