What is your experience with the "honeymoon" pill?

I tried vitex and it helped my PMDD but now my period is a week late and now I'm "forecasted" to start my period right on my first ever cruise vacation :( Any advice? Should I try the honeymoon pill?  I quit taking the vitex when it made my period late for 3 days, I'm just so bummed because it was truly working wonders for my mood and mental health. I'm trying to be positive and focus on the fact that it helped my awful pmdd but now I'm just upset about this

It is far too early to determine if you will period during your cruise vacation. If you want to make sure you do not, talk to your doctor. He/she can prescribe hormonal birth control pills that will delay your period and help you to determine when to start and stop taking it.
