My crazy mother in law thinks I ruined her family

So my MIL can’t get it in her head that her son has a family now. My sister in law is having problems with her husband and I talked with her about problems I had with my husband in the past and how she’ll get through it and she went on to talk to my MIL. (I will never tell her about my problems again)

I told her not to tell her anything. (MIL) She’s emotionally not there and she emotionally neglected her kids their whole life. She’s a bitter woman. She has never liked us and always thought we stole her kids away from her.

…. So she talked with my MIL and told her there are problems in their relationship and even told her about my past problems for some reason. (MIL) She said, “I don’t know what else you want. He pays your bills… he watches her kids, feeds them. (talking about me and my husband now) — what else do y’all want? Why are you trying to destroy my family? Jesus sees it all. Stop lying”

She basically said she was lying about everything but the part that made me mad is that she said, “why are you trying to destroy MY family?”

Miss. Ma’am, your son is not your husband. When you get married, you are supposed to be one with your husband. You are supposed to leave your mom and cleave to your wife and start your OWN family….

In other words, me and our kids don’t matter. She sees me and my sister in law and thinks we stole her sons. I don’t get it. It’s disgusting. 🤮 and then she wonders why our kids are never around her.

I’ve tried so hard to get my husband to see how his mom is but she’s brainwashed him. She is a narcissist.
